It’s All in Your Head – How to Shift Your Mindset for Serious Success

“It’s just all in your head.” Have you ever been told that?

This week’s Topic comes from  Krista Mashore. Krista was named Yahoo Finance’s No. 1 Digital Marketer to Watch.  In her article, It’s All in Your Head: How to Shift Your Mindset for Serious Success she describes how we allow our thoughts to become facts, and the battle going on inside our brain.

According to Mashore, “When it comes to success, the only thing that’s important is what’s in your head … the thing that will make or break you, especially as an entrepreneur. Why? Because thinking leads to actions, and actions create results in life”.

Mashore brings this point home by including compelling personal stories. She notes that no matter how skilled you may be, it’s your mindset that will make or break a business.

She provides some thoughtful advice on how to recognize a limiting belief and what to do about it.  Start with a deep breath and stay.  Plus anything outside your comfort zone may be perceived as a threat, but gets easier every time you are outside that cushy comfort zone.
