Joe is right on the mark when he talks about Inflation.  Providing readers with a more comprehensive and studied overview. Joe lists statistics on some of the residual effects of injecting trillions of dollars into the global economy over the past two years.  

Employment concerns and energy costs are causing challenging impacts for most businesses. Joe states that “CEOs are reticent to give back hard-won new employees or to lose highly valued existing workers; talent hoarding is taking the replacing layoffs”.

In more detail, Gavin breaks out the following three inflation implications that businesses should be thinking about.

1. Hiring and retention remain the top business challenge.

2. Increased costs are at record levels and are being passed down the line.

3. Changing customer behavior.

While breaking down the supply chain issues, Gavin notes that data shows that the supply chain is healing.  But he cautions that there is still pressure on pricing, and “the result is a state of concentrated volatility forcing CEOs to make critical decisions on a shifting landscape”
